Time-Interval Generators

The T5000 series of the versatile and accurate Time-Interval/Pulse/Frequency generators offer generation of time interval within the range from 10 ns to 10 s with the unprecedented 5 ps time step and below 20 ps jitter. The instruments also can generate rectangular signal with the frequency from 0.1 Hz to 75 MHz.

Precisely controlled time interval between the leading edges of output pulses
Precisely controlled width (equal to time interval) of pulses at a separate output
Time interval/width range: 10 ns – 10 seconds
Time interval/width step: 5 ps
Jitter: < 20 ps rms at time interval from 10 ns to 50 ms
Output pulses: positive, 2 V amplitude on 50 Ω load
- rise- and fall time < 600 ps,
- selectable width of Time Interval pulses (10, 20, 50 or 100 ns),
- selectable polarity (positive- or negative-going pulses)
Internal trigger generator with frequency variable from 10 mHz to 1 MHz
