Do you need a source of fast 2 V pulses with rise/fall time below 1 nsec. and frequency from 10 to 400 MHz? With specified jitter values and stability? And a fast shaper to convert a small sine signal into high-speed 2 V pulses? The answer is the GSS-5 combo. This smart unit contains a 10 MHz quartz generator with pulse shaped complementary outputs, a highly stable synthesizer/pulse generator with digitally synthesized frequency (DDS), and fast shaper for conversion of a sine or slow pulse input signal into very fast output pulses. All this you can have for only a small fraction of the cost of the heavily priced instruments offered for that purpose.
